Of particular relevance currently is the Requirement for Travellers to USA is the now mandatory

“Machine Readable” Passport and also the Requirement for expiry date of the passport to be be

AT LEAST 6 Months beyond intended / Ticketed return date to the UK .

This Validity of Passport of AT LEAST 6 Months beyond ticketed return date also applies to certain other

destinations, so if you hold a passport with an expiry date that does not fulfil this requirement then it is

VERY IMPORTANT that a ticket is NOT purchased as US Immigration Services on landing in US could refuse entry.

Also in common with many other countries the US will not permit entry on a ONE-WAY ticket if not a National of US.
